The beach and the sea front of Cattolica

A wide pavement that stretches from Cattolica harbour, to the opposite side of town, extending right along the front of the beach establishments, a route rich in beauty and attractiveness. It is possible either on foot or by bicycle, to travel along the lengthy promenade which is protected from traffic and allows you to stroll freely among blossoming flowerbeds and areas of relaxation. Small restaurants and bars along the beach front are ready to wet your appetite and are also open in the evenings, inviting the visitor to prolong their day, in addition to the times dedicated to sunbathing.

In the past the promenade, in fact, was only used during the day, but now it has become very lively during the evening hours, thanks to the illuminations included in the new urban design, that recognized the value of enhancing the beach areas. On a par with the other coastal towns, Cattolica wanted to renew itself through a modern and functional urban design, with a plan that welcomed innovative structures for the various beach activities.

Mini-swimming pools, Jacuzzis, water displays, small sports courts and recreational fitness centres alternate between each beach establishment offering the tourists numerous leisure and entertainment opportunities. There is space, specially dedicated to the little ones, who can play freely within safe fun parks equipped with slides and rubber castles. Alongside the never, out of fashion table tennis and the perennial game of boules, there is also lots of space for games and fun, for a holiday which lights up with the colours of the sea and sun.
